§ - Chairman Pakistan Shipping Corporation from 1974-78.
- Served on the board of the Karachi Port Trust, and also acting Chairman for a period
- Leading member of the community and is Chairman of the Pakistan Special Olympics.
- In 2001 he was awarded the "Cavaliere" Order of Merit by the Italian Government
